MODIFIED
CLASS DISCRIPTION
- Competition will be pounds per cubic inch with no break out.
- Index of .2 tenth per pound handicap in 1/2 pound increments.
- Eliminations will be on a .500 full tree.
ENGINE
- Engine limited to cam in block, 2 valves per cylinder V8. 280 cid minimum.
OILING SYSTEM
- Any oiling system permitted, may run vacuum pump.
INDUCTION
- Naturally aspirated with any cylinder head , intake and carbs permitted.
FUEL
TRANS
- Any automatic or manual trans permitted
- Automatics will receive a 5% weight break.
CHASSIS
- Door cars only.
- Any chassis modifications permitted.
- May use fiberglass, carbon fiber and lexan.
BALLAST
- Added ballast as allowed in NHRA Rulebook.
- No disguised ballast permitted
TIRES
- Any tire and wheel combination permitted.
ELECTRICAL
- Limited to two batteries not exceeding 100 pounds including box.
- No delay boxes permitted.
JR MODIFIED

OILING SYSTEM
- Wet sump oiling system only, may use external oil pump and vacuum pump.
INDUCTION
- Naturally aspirated with stock valve angle cylinder heads.
- Valve angle may be altered + or - 2 degrees by angle milling only.
- Cast single 4 intake and carb.
FUEL
TRANS
- Clutch assisted manual trans, no clutch less trans permitted.
- Maximum of 4 forward gears with 1to1 fourth.
- Automatics with trans brake and stall converter permitted.
- Automatics will receive a 5% weight break.
CHASSIS
- Door cars only.
- Aftermarket four links are not permitted.
- Stock type rear suspension or ladder bar rear suspension permitted.
- May use after market suspension components.
- May use fiberglass, carbon fiber and lexan.
BALLAST
- Added ballast as allowed in NHRA Rulebook.
- No disguised ballast permitted
TIRES
- 10.5 maximum racing slicks.
- No W series tires.
- Tires can not measure more than 10.75 inches tread width.
ELECTRICAL
- Limited to two batteries not exceeding 100 pounds including box.
- No delay boxes permitted.
Tech - Both Modified Classes
- Must pass all NHRA Safety Requirements including chassis certification and driver's license requirements.
- Eliminations will be ran with a qualified field on a pro ladder.
- Protest Fee's
- P&G for cubic inch $50.00
- Check weight $25.00
- If legal, protest fee's will be awarded to car under protest.
- Track reserves the right to protest at any time with no fee's.
- Track reserves the right to check 1st and 2nd place cars for CID and weight.
