Points Champions in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Junior Dragster Classes Crowned

Last Saturday September 24th was the final ponts race for our regular weekly classes at ERP. Halie Main is the champion in the Junior Dragster class holding off a challenge by Chad Bacon as both racers lost in round # 2 giving Halie the win by 22 points. In the Sportsman class defending champion Mike Wymore had the championship wrapped up before Saturday`s race and pulled away even more with a runner up finish Saturday. The Brianne Mc Bride/Wayne Carder team finshed in 2nd place. In the Pro class, like Sportsman, the champion was determined before the last race even though 2nd place finisher Doug Hays had a fantastic season with only 1 1st round loss, class winner Stewert Stull had an even better one finishing 89 points ahead of Doug. Stewert also only had 1 1st round loss for the season. The closest points race was in Super Pro as 4 racers came into Saturday`s race with a chance to win the championship. Terry Kruse finished the year on fire as he won the last 2 races to finish 23 points ahead of 2nd place Gary Shearer. Congratulations to all of the champions.
