The Eddyville Raceway Park High School Program will be up and running on several Friday Nights this Summer. "The High School class is a lot of fun and creates some great excitement at the track and for the kids who race" said General Manager Gerald Kramer. An informational meeting will be held in May (watch this website for details). Parents are encouraged to attend the meeting. In addition, several spots will be available to attend the NHRA Bracket Finals in Denver, CO on Sept 12-14. Below is some general information concerning the program for 2008.

H.S. Class is ran on Friday Nights in June, July and August - Check schedule for actual dates.
Gates open at 5:30 PM. Time Trials at 6:30. Eliminations 8 PM

What you need to race in the High School Class

1. A valid States Drivers License.

2. Long pants, closed toed shoes and a shirt with sleeves.

3. A street legal car with seat belts, working head lights, safe DOT tires and a secured battery.

4. Helmets are required with convertibles or T-Tops or for a vehicle that is faster than 7.59 seconds in the 1/8th.

5. You must be a current High School Student or May 2008 Graduate.

6. If under 18 years-old a parent waiver must be signed and turned into us prior to racing.
