The Eddyville Raceway Park Championship Awards Banquet is set for Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Adventureland Inn, Des Moines, IA. “We picked this location so people would have the option to stay right at the facility and make it a special weekend” said Gerald Kramer. “The Adventureland Inn is centrally located to our racers and has easy access and great parking off I-80” he continued.

The doors will open for the social and cash bar at 4 PM. The buffet will be served at 5:30 PM followed by the awards ceremony. Banquet admission includes the buffet and is $25 for adults, $12 for children (6-15) and under 6 free. In addition Dale Brand (funny car racer & businessman) will present a short presentation about his life experiences. All tickets must be purchased in advance and include the buffet. The Adventureland Inn (adventurelandpark.com) is offering a special room rate for both Friday and Saturday nights (Feb. 29 & March 1) by calling 1-800-910-5382. The rate is $89 per night, however the special rate and room block is only good through February 14. The Adventureland Inn has  newly remodeled rooms, pools, lounges and more!
