More than Twenty Nitro Altereds Pre-Entered
This Friday and Saturday, August 17-18 is the 2nd Annual World Fuel Altered Nationals at Eddyville Raceway Park. Billed as the biggest nitro fuel altered event in the World, it is expected to be a spectacular show as the fuel altereds are known to be the wild monsters of drag racing. "We have gone all out to get great cars" said promoter Scott Gaulter. "We have cars coming from across the United States" he mentioned.
Gates open Friday at 12 Noon for racers parking with time trial action underway at 6 PM followed by Pro Nitro Fuel Altered Qualifying at 9 PM (approx). Gates then re-open Saturday at 11 AM for racers and 12 Noon for spectators as the final Pro Nitro Fuel Altered qualifying is set for mid-afternoon with final Pro eliminations at 6 PM. In addition to drag racing action, a car show will be held on Saturday.
