Gary Shearer drove his R&J Performance Dragster to the Advance Transmission Quick 16 class win on Saturday, September 22 at Eddyville Raceway Park. Shearer who has raced at Eddyville and Cedar Falls for years, used that experience to take the class Championship. "Some drivers can really get on a roll" said Eddyville's Manager Gerald Kramer. "Gary is a perfect example of being on his game at any track" he concluded.

The Advance Transmission Quick 16 class had a great variety of entries in 2007 with nearly 50 different drivers racing in the series. The Quick 16 Series will be back in 2008!
