FLAHERTY QUICK 16 presented by
ADVANCE TRANSMISSION ANNOUNCED
The Flaherty Quick 16 presented by Advance Transmission will be contested at Eddyville Raceway Park and Cedar Falls Raceway in 2007. The Quick 16 will be made up of 8 doorslammers and 8 dragsters at each event. There will 8 events (4 at each track) and the winner will be paid $1,000 at each race. In addition, the Quick 16 Series will also have a points fund (details listed below).
"We could not put this Series together without Denis Flaherty and Bruce Micetich as they have went out of their way to ensure fast racing in Iowa for 2007" said ERP's Gerald Kramer. "In addition the associate sponsors are vitally important to this Series to help cover additional expenses incurred and we ask that all the racers support the sponsors when they can"

General Rules
- Qualify 8 doorslammers and 8 dragsters (left steered roasters with doorslammers)
- Two (2) qualifying sessions
- Lane choice to better qualified entry. If tie in final round, then by flip of a coin.
- Must dial no slower than 1/10th of qualifying ET.
- If qualified car breaks before round #1, then alternate with be placed in that position.
- Points count in 7 of 8 races contested.
- Points Champion must have Advance Transmission decal on race vehicle to win transmission. (Decals will be available at the tracks)
- NHRA Safety Rules and Regulations apply by ET
- Race Director has authority to modify and adjust rules as needed.
