Midnight Madness, Bracket Racing and Drag List Nationals this Weekend

This week on Friday we have the return of Midnight Madness along with our regular Friday night action. The night starts with the gates opening at 5:30 and Test-n-Tune starting at 6:30. Along with the test-n-tune we will have High School Points Race #7. Eliminations for the High School Race will start at approximately 8:00pm. Then at 10:00pm gates will open for the Midnight Madness portion of the evening. Midnight Madness features instant green and flag starts for all runs with grudge racing available for those who have a race set up. Along with the racing action we will have the always popular Flag Girl contest and the Smokey Burn-Out Contest. Spectators can come out anytime during the night and watch for just $8 for both events. If you are looking to race you can race either the Friday Fun Night or the Midnight Madness portions for $15 each or you can race both events for $25.

Also on Friday we welcome the 2nd Annual DragList Nationals back to the track. The Drag list Nationals is a group of racers and race fans from across the country that has chose Eddyville Raceway as there central meeting spot. This group brings a wide variety of racing machines to the track from nitro fueled alterds to classic street rods. They will arrive on Friday and spend the weekend with us.

On Saturday along with the DragList Nationals we will have Bracket Points Race #9 and a Quick 16 race. With the season now in the last half, competition will be getting fierce as the points racers vie for position. Gates will open on Saturday at 1:30pm with time trials staring at 3:00pm and eliminations scheduled for 6:00pm. Spectators can come out and watch the bracket and quick 16 races along with the DragList Nationals cars for just $10 for the whole day.
