Bruce Main drove his "Terminator" Firebird to victory in the "Race of Champions" at the NHRA Division 5 Bracket Finals on Saturday, September 15 in Topeka, KS. Main as points leader at Eddyville earned the right to race the best of the best in the Champions Race. "Winning this race is a feather in the caps of not only Bruce but also for Eddyville Raceway" said Track Manager Gerald Kramer. "The weather conditions changed throughout the event making consistency a tough deal, but it's clear Main had it figured out" he continued. Eddyville Raceway Park finished tied for 10th in the overall standings of 19 teams.

The final points bracket event at Eddyville that will determine the track champions is on Saturday, September 29.
