EXCITEMENT FILLS THE AIR
AS ERP ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE

The Eddyville Raceway Park Schedule of events is announced with some new and exciting programs and events in place. Headlining the new event category, is the return of the NHRA National Open on May 19-20. Racers can earn valuable grading points as well as set National Records at this event.

An additional new bracket program also comes to ERP, with the Heartland Bracket Series. Racers that participate in this program with have a chance to earn a $15,000 race car make-over! Also in 2007, ERP bracket racers will earn points from the 18 points events available. New programs for the bracket racers include the NHRA National Dragster Challenge, the NHRA King of the Track and the NHRA O’Reilly Auto Parts Jr Drag Racing League Program (Jr dragster class). Also returning on the schedule will be the Drag News Magazine All-Star Race on Saturday, May 19th in conjunction with the NHRA National Open. Junior Dragster racers will also have their own independent race on Sat & Sun, June 16 & 17.

Street racers will have their events with the return of the Midnight Madness Program. In addition to Friday Fun Nights (open track time), The Midnight Madness events are races conducted from 10:30 PM till 2 AM with instant starts, the flag girl contest and much more.

Major events returning in 2007 include the Musco Lighting Night of Fire, Saturday, June 30 and the World Fueled Altered Nationals on Friday and Saturday, August 17 & 18.
